The Saudi ministry of finance said that the Kingdom has deposited $250 million into the Central Bank of Sudan’s account.
The Finance Ministry stated that the deposit will strengthen Sudan's financial position, alleviate pressure on the Sudanese pound and achieve more stability in the exchange rate.
Saudi Arabia said that the remaining amount will be allocated to meet the urgent needs of the Sudanese people such as food, medications and oil derivatives.
